You know, when Obama was elected, i was really put out. I couldn't believe that so many people could elect this man. I followed the campaign daily. And i just never saw it coming. I mean, i knew that we didn't have a strong candidate, i had the same problem that alot of people had. I THOUGHT WE COULDN'T LOSE. For years, republican pundits have called democrats and liberals elitist. What happened during the election 2 years ago was simply ONE ELITIST CANDIDATE AGAINST ANOTHER. Problem with that was the liberal was more in touch with the masses. He didn't have to say much, just make sure they think the status quo is no more. He used alot of unknown and new technology to get his word out. But without saying what he truly wanted to do. He found out once in office that while a majority of people want some kind of change, they are truly moderates.

What the republicans really need to do is return to the old form. Return to understanding their base. I've listened to quite a few people that admitted to voting for Obama simply because they were tired of the " same old same old ".
If the republicans want a return to control and moral governance, they need to refind themselves and remember. Any body can be replaced.

Life has been crazy the last few years. I haven't had a computer for a while now. I'm actually blogging on a nintendo wii. Without a keyboard this is crazy. More to come later.

There is a place here in Oklahoma called Neighbor for Neighbor.
What they do is assist people who can't afford insurance or just plain can't get it for one reason or another. It is funded buy our tax dollars. They provide limited dental, medical and you may get glasses for $30. Me and my husband have not been able to receive insurance for some time now either because it is to expensive or it's not offered to us. Take me for instance. I work for my sister part time through a company and can not get full time because I am only able to work for her because of the family plan they have. I can not get insurance because I HAVE to be working full time but they won't let me work full time because I'm working through the family plan. Stinks!!!! Anyway!!! I have had to use Neighbor for Neighbor before but is near to impossible to get in. It's a first come first serve thing. That is not what makes me angry though. What I am vary angry about is that me and others are put off because illegal immigrants are being aloud to use this service too. I have a couple of dear friends that are full blooded Mexicans. One of them is going through a very hard time right now with a loss of job and her daughter is VARY sick with lupus. My friend needs medical care her self right now and some dental. Do you think me or her are at the top of the list to get some help. NOPE!!!!! When you walk in that place it is FULL and I mean FULL of illegal immigrants. I'm not saying we should not help them but I am saying the tax paying Americans who are helping with the funding should be first. We should not be pushed aside so they can use it all up. On top of which they are also able to receive food stamps and other benefits. Now let me tell you something. I don't feel tax paying Americans should have to put up with this kind of junk. If you want to work hear and live hear. Get your citizenship or a work visa and I won't say a word about you getting help. It would only be fair. I don't understand why when I go into the DHS office to receive help I am told I have to have social security cards for all persons living in the home, birth certificate, photo ID, paycheck stubs for 60 days, all utility bills, bank statements, titles for vehicles, rent receipts or house payments, right arm, left leg, one eye, some strands of hair and finger prints ect....... just to even start the process to receive benefits. God forbid if you miss one cause you WILL be denied. On the other hand I am curious what the illegal immigrants have to provide. We all know they work under the table to get there money and they are NOT paying taxes on it. Is it being turned in to the DHS office as money received in the home????? I would hope so but probably not. If that where one of us we would be facing jail time for lying to the state. Why are we changing our legal documents to Spanish to conform.. This is America not Mexico we speak English. Grant it it's hard to learn to speak and spell but we did it. If you want to do something to help illegal immigrants try to make it easier to get their citizenship or work visas and for the illegals who just don't want to do that send them back. Don't just GIVE them the freedoms our soldiers fight and die for. And the TAX PAYING AMERICANS pay for. It's NOT RIGHT.

Election results. That is read election insults. Are the Democrats really that stupid. They are acting like they just one the lottery. Sure, they won. They are united. RIGHT. They are fighting between themselves now. There are too many seperate opinions within the party. Too many differences that are imploding the tiny majority that they have won. With Pelosi the speaker, if they were united, they would have voted her man as majority leader. that didnot happen. They are not uniting to FIX the so called problems caused by the hated Bush and compadres, they will continue this fight for the next 2 years. And if I'm right, they will lose in 2008. I don't know if the next president will be elephant or donkey, but congress, where the real power is, will be easily handed back to the Gop. So please, Keep up the good fighting, and us GOP's will smile all the way back into office.

I don't know what people are thinking. Ohio State the best college team ever. You can't let a team score as much as they let michigan score, and say that.
