Angry Republican/Loving American

This is not political, just an answer to a friend. And yes, DeBunkem, I call you friend. You ask about the a man wearing women's clothing. Yes I'm well aware, and this point is not directed to you DeBunkem, But I need to say this, that back in ancient days they all wore robes. I'll get to that in a minute.
No, in my opinion from reading the bible, a man should not wear women's clothing. Neither shall a woman put on men's. We are each distinct people. There are things that a man does that makes it improper for them to wear a dress. likewise, there are things that a woman should not do, because they are in a dress. That is my understanding.
As far as them all wearing robes in the ancient days, they were consideral differences in the styles. A man's robe was built for the tough jobs they had to do, where a woman's were not.

Who were the pilgrims? Why were they here? Where were most schools held untill just after the turn of the 1900's? Oh yea, that's right, our fore father's wanted to keep religion out of government. If that is true, then why was it mandatory in the 1700's and 1800's for the student's to have a bible in class. Part of school curriculum was daily bible studies. Just asking? | | | |

Bush really pulled a fast one. The dems keep saying they are for the minority's and the fairer sex, but who keeps putting minority's in office? I like alot of America, am not sure about this Harriet Miers. Who is she. One thing I can say is that she is a woman. I got to give President a thumb's up for that.
Alot of people are hollering about cronyism. What about it. You know your friends better than you know anyone else. Now I'm not saying she is the best choice for the job. I'm saying that the pres. does know her. Time will tell. I for one am going to give her the benefit of the doubt. Not so much because president Bush likes her, but because not much is known about her. But think about this, If the dems aren't sure, and the GOP isn't, she probally will be right on target.

I have alot on my mind. A lot of things to do. I was going to write some posts today, but i got side tracked. Sorry, dear readers, I have to apoligize. I am a football fan. I took time today to watch a football game theat I had mixed feelings about. Hear I am a sooner fan. I love the Oklahoma Sooners with a passion. They got wiped off the field.
But being the political kind of guy that I am, I'm not upset about it. This blog won't mean anything to most people, but here is the reason. With Texas and Oklahoma both in the Big 12, I route for any big 12 team to win the national title.
That said, Texas came in ranked at number 2 in the nation. I, of course, always want O.U. to beat Texas, but if they did that today, Texas would not have had a chance to win the national title. A loss today probally would have taken away any chance of them going to the title game.
So here is a die hard Sooner fan that finds himself routing for the enemy. IHATE THE LONGHORNS, but here goes. GO TEXAS. BRING HOME THE TITLE.

I'm well aware that some people will say that sometimes someone will be elected not because they like their ideas, but that they dislike the others idea even more. That is true. But look at it this way, If I don't like the other's idea, it is because it goes against what I believe in. So it is still my religion that causes me to make my decision.
like it or not, everybody has things they believe in. Some look to God. Others look towards themselves or the government, maybe a friend. Still others rely on their money. Some feel their athletic ability will keep them. That is what drives a person. What they believe in. If you believe that there is nothing wrong with abortion, then you will vote to keep people in office that believes that way. If you believe it is murder, Then you will elect those that are against it.
Same way for "gay rights". Why should someones sexual orientation come into play. I don't know, but if you believe that it is right, then you will do what you can to elect gay activists.
I am actually a very God fearing man. I believe that there is life from conception, so that the morning after pill is just as wrong as third trimester abortion. I believe that marriage is between a women and a man in the eyes of God, considering he destroyed a whole city for that very thing.
So speaking of that, I will continue to vote and push for candidates that share my opinion.
