Angry Republican/Loving American

 Religion and Politics.

I remember back in the 2004 election, John Kerry actually said that he personally was against abortion and gay marriage. That it was against his religious believe's. He said that while he personally does not agree with it, he cannot legislate his personal morals. That would be wrong.

Question? The whole point of running a campaign for any elected office is tell the people how you believe in things. What you would do in a certain situation. How you feel about issues. Those that believe the way you do will vote for you, and that, if you win lets you know that the majority of those that voted believe the way you do. So yes, John Kerry, You do need to legislate your morals, or lack there of, when an elected official does his or her job.

Religion, like it or not, plays a part in any government. This country, while some believe that there is seperation of church FROM state, it really was seperation of church from state intervention. Meaning that, while most elected officials were christian, that the government would not limit the way you could worship God. That stemmed from the very reason that this country was formed in the very beginning.

They came here for religious freedom. Not because they did not want to worship God, but they were being persecuted for going against the teachings of the state church, the Church of England. They had a different view on the bible, and they were told they couldnot do that.

When we formed our country, this was kept in mind, for we had several christian org. in America at that time. What the freedom was that you could be free to be a member of which one you wanted, not that you had to keep church away from government. Most of the founding fathers were christians that were strong members of there congregations.

 Thanks Debunkem

See this is what I'am talking about. It is people like you that do not realize that when it all comes down to it IT IS BLACK OR WHITE not the pretty little colors your getting from what ever you are smoking. God created the rainbow for the sky and nouthing else. You have realy opened my eyes to the things that people think. I really thought that people had more sence than that but then again this is a world where saten romes to and fro he must be haveing a hay day with you. You are one of those who twists and distorts every thing you hear no matter what it is. You just like to argue and I feel that you sir are not even sure what you believe in. Open your eyes and quit putting your own twist on things and see them for how they really are.

 Tried to be nice

Ok, so you want to smack. Let's go. You may have fought in nam. You may know a little about life. Let's get one thing straight. Your babbling is beginning to really get on my nerves. You must think that i've lived in a bubble all my life. I was raised in the carnivals, in foster homes, and for a period of time sent from family member to family member.

We was not wrong in nam. Did you forget who got us in? It was a democrat President. Then it was a dem. that escalated it. It was the mean old hated republican president that got us out about the time I was born.

Yes it was a "police action". There was alot of things that went wrong. But are you really going to sit there and say that you beleive everyhthing that you read in the paper or see in the news. If you do, you are the biggest idiot this side of the red river.

the media is liberal. They slant things the way the want to. They twist and show you things that they want you to see. Yes, it was wrong what the soldiers did in the abu prison. They are not perfect. But are you going to sit and actually blame Bush for that. THAT IS IGNORANT. You say that you fought in 'nam. Are you going to tell me every stupid thing that was done, every thing, A product of The White House. That is the most arcane thing that I have heard. Bush has made mistakes. But Iraq is not one of them. Are you a sympathizer to the terrorist. Most of the media stears away from the fact that mast of the insurgents are foriegnors. Or do you really believe CNN, The most liberal of all press organizations, when they try to convey that they are locals. I have talked to a lot of soldiers returning from Iraq, and they all say, without exception, don't listlen to the press. They say that they look for the few locals and American soldiers that don't like what we are doing, and that is all they will air.

i'm not stupid. I know alot about the military. I know it is not pretty. I figure you was a drafty, if not my apoligy.

As for the blindness that you claim I have. I have lived on both sides of the fence. It is not blidness that makes me say that W. was right to go in. I good friend of mine, Who was my boss for about 7 months, was actually in on the planning of the invasion of Iraq. I will not tell you all he said but he did tell me the press is wrong about the motives. It was not about the oil, or getting his friends rich. It was not about his daddy, who by the way, I really don't like. (I liked him more than clinton, but let's just say I'm glad the apple ran away from the tree.) He wasn't able to tell me the excact reason, but he did inform mr that if the wmd were ever found, and yes he felt they were there, we would not find out about it, no matter how it made Bush look. No it is not blidness, it is paying attention. I sat back and watched Clinton just slap Saddam on the wrist for breaking every sanction the UN put on them.

Oh, by the way, you mentioned that we was bombing them way before we went to war. That was the only thing that Clinton did. And that was inforce the no-flyzone. You said to get my facts straight. No, you grow up and get a life. My facts are straight.

And yes I look at these kids in this school. Half of them are running around with their pants around their knees and trying to be a gangster. Do you approve of that? If we go with leadership of the likes of Kerry or Gore, Theses kids will only keep getting worse. Gotta go to bed now so that I can clean up after a bunch of kids who don't respect authority, thanks impart to Clinton.

 Istook for Governor

Rep. Istook, Republican oklahoma, has signed up to run for Governor. For the time being, I'm completely behind him in this. The current governor needs to be gone. I did not vote for him, nor would I again. all he cared about is getting the lottery in Oklahoma. The lottery is going to ruin this state. I wish him luck, and I will begging posting regular updates about his campaign.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY, IGNATIOUS O'

Thankyou for your comments. I feel that I need to reply openly to you. And by the way your right, these colors don't run, they fight back. That is the American way.

You talk about free speach. Your right, that would ruin free speach. Ha. No it won't. Not allowing the media into Iraq would have nothing to do with free speach or having something to hide, it has everything to do with protecting ou men and women out there. maybe you don't agree with the war, so what. maybe you don't like the president. So what.

So what, so what, so what. They are there. they are fighting. They are in harms way. Like it or not, we are fighting a war over there. You say you were in vietnam. You should know how bad it turned when the media started slamming the war. It feeds the enemy. Maybe you don't think they are the enemy. If they are shooting at us, say they want America to be destroyed, they are our enemy. They didn't make no qualms about burning our flag and laughing about 911. The insurgents want this country destroyed. If you don't believe me, go over there and ask them. If you still have your head, we will talk.

You asked me what class I am. You won't like it. I'm below poverty. No i do not blame the government or the rich. It was my own choices. I work as a janitor at a school. I make 17,000 a year to support me and my three kids and wife. My choice. There were alot of things I really wanted to say to you, and as a matter of fact, this is the 5th rewrite. No, you didn't get my goat, I['m just careful how I say things.

I'm going to tell you, I believe in this country and my President. I feel he is moraly right. I don't believe in abortion, and I don't beleive in gay marriage. Read the bible for reasons why.

Oh, and by the way, the rich that everybody hates they are the employers of the world why would I make them mad by approving major taxes for them. They pay our paychecks. If I was them, tax me, i'm going to cut spending on my buisness(payroll, hiring, benefits) so that I can keep my lifestyle the way it is. That hurts the poor not the rich.
