Angry Republican/Loving American

 Dear Caotain Bringdown,here's a bone

Well to start with, I'm getting tired of all the old cliches about the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer. There are alot of cliches that people in blog land throw around that make my blood boil, and that one is right near the top.

As for the "trillions of dollars" that our government supposedly had, as you probly are aware of, was not actual money in hand, but projections of what we would have by end of that budget year. I know that you are aware that the bottom fell out of our economy just 2 months after Bush was sworn in. Which means to anybody that knows anything about finance that we were already heading in that direction long before that actually happened. Bush didn't even have time to make a financial decision at that point, and even if he had, it wouldn't have had time to take effect. We also had 911 that happened that same sept., and that almost destroyed our tourist business. It also badly hurt alot of other business. Like rental cars, restaurants, theme parks, ect.

You say trickle down doesn't work. you should be aware that that all financial decisions take time to create results. Clinton did enjoy one of the best economic terms in history, but how long was it building to it before it exploded like it did? And how many of his decisions caused the economy to falter? I'm very aware of the fact that most of our economic straights that we find ourselves in at this time is mostly because of the war. If we was not at war at this time we probly might have overcame 911, and march 2001 falling economy. But then again, we probaly might have been hit by the terrorist again by now.

 Tax incentives

Tax incentives. Are they right or wrong? Some of my dear readers will disagree with me on this.

Tax incentives to get companies or to keep a company. Who does it hurt? Who does it help? Well, most people think that they hurt the working people because we have to m ake up for the taxes that they are not paying. That is very true, we do. Some think that they hurt Unions for the right to work law and to let companies get away without unionizing. It may.

But the upside is that with tax incentives, there usually are more jobs available. Either jobs are coming in, or they are staying put. But, let's get deeper with this.

If you give a company a tax cut to set up shop in your town, you are now creating jobs that were not there before. The argument against that is that they are not paying their taxes. They wasn't there to pay any in the first place, so tax payers are not taking on any more burden than they already have. And now, some of those unemployed individuals that are presently living off your taxes, are now going to be employed, paying taxes themselves.

So now you have a company that wasn't paying taxes before, still not paying, no loss there, less people living off the government, now we are gaining in revenue, and those people are now paying taxes also, so revenues just went up two fold.

Simple Reaganomics. it works.

You do loss a little initially from giving a company tax incentives to stay, but look at it this way.

No tax break and company leaves. You lose not only the taxes that that company is paying, but you have to support all those new unempoyed people that are also not paying taxes. So, While you loose that companies taxes, you are not loosing all the rest of that money.

Got it. Good. See you later.

To iggy, and the Honorable HeatherK

For one Iggy, The H that you refer to is a letter that has been added to his name in a slanderous way. It is a cuss word that I' m not going to spend any more time on. Now as far as it standing for holiday, what a joke. But, you are right about it being religious in nature. Holiday stands for holy days. And Christmas is a Holy Day. That is why so many people call it winter festivals and winter break instead of Christmas or holidays. I will just call it what it is.

 changing hands

It is really beginning to shape up over in Iraq, and there are alot of people not happy with it. The liberal media is beggining not to be able to hide this fact, and they are beginning to scramble for a deeper foothold over there.

We have a very important election coming up that will set the tone for 2008. And with the truth about how Iraq is really going, the democrats are trying to do everything to make the public continue to believe that the war is still going bad.

I have heard that the democrat base is beginning to call for the impeachment of President Bush on the grounds that he lied. If it ever becomes the total truth that he lied about the war before we went in, then yes, by all means, hold impeachment hearings. We must always hold our leaders to the highest degree of morals.

But then there is a problem. Who's morals are we to hold them to. We can't hold the to biblical morals since that is against the constitution. We can't hold them to any real set morals, since what is moral for me, may not be moral for you. So, whose morals shall we use? Interesting question.

One problem there. Our entire judicial system is built on the last 5 commandments in the Bible.

1.Thou shalt not steal

2.Thou shalt not kill

3.thou shalt not covet

4.thou shalt not comit adultry

5.THOU SHALT NOT LIE

That is what we are founded on. So why the argument to keep out the ten commandments. In othe arguments, let's say Bush did lie, I would want him out of office. I think that most people want him out of there BECAUSE he is one of the most honest presidents that we have had.

Bush is not really that bad, since we can look at the last one that we had, and the last few candidates that we have had from both parties. And he was reelected.

This is a very important mid term election. So let's get it right.
Don't vote for the republicans, or the democrats, vote for the best man. Sometimes he is the one that is looks like the wrong choice, so don't go by the looks get down and dirty with the facts.

 The sad truth.

The sad truth is very simple.  Even though the Democrats want their constituents to think that they are against the war and want to get out now,  they understand the truth.  We can't get out till the job is finished.  How hard is that for people to get.

not bad for the truth

of the heart.  Help them now by voting them out and electing those that will do whatwhat they say.

LOL........   GOOD LUCK
