Angry Republican/Loving American

 the liberal side of conservatives

There are alot of people who don't understand that being Republican does not always mean that you are conservative. I believe it is the "liberals" that are complaining about advancing oil drilling in a conservatory.

Ok to the truth. My real meaning to this all. Bush is republican, but he is really making us conservatives made because of the Mexico border. He needs to strengthen the borders there, not grant amnety. I don't get it. These people can come into my country illegally, get a drivers liscense in some states, and the President says, give them amnesty.

His border policy is much like Clinton's. He doesn't have one. Now I like Bush. I support him on most everything he does. This borders on liberalism. no I don't think this country shouldn't let people come in, but we do have rules, and we are trying to protect our borders from terrorists. This is no way to act. I don't think he is tough enough on buisness. Hold the applause. Clinton and Bush 41 created and signed nafta. This thing goes across boundries. Liberals and Conservatives agree on this thing. Some think it was good, othersw think it isn't.

John Kerry kept saying he was going to bring our factories home. When asked about him making his wife do the same, he tried to ditch the issue everytime. Most of our national politicians are buisness people, one way or the other. They all say one thing, then when it comes to their money, do something else.

 Disabledsue

I agree so much with the comment DisabledSue left me. Katrina was a Storm. It left people dead and injured. THAT WAS NOBODY'S FAULT. It went after anybody and all. It knew no color or sex. It didn't care if you was abled body or not.

 Revisiting New Orleans

I got a question to the refuggee's that are now looking for work. I know that not all of you are capable of doing the kind of work that they are asking people to do down there, but feme is still asking for people to sign up to help in clean-up and rebuilding, why don't you sign up? They are feeding these people, housing them, and paying them. That would solve part of the new unemployment and housing issues.

And besides, if my house was destroyed, and i could be paid to help rebuild it and the neighborhood, I'd be the first to sign up.

 Wait and see

The only problem that I have with Bush's selection of Miers is that she is completely an unknown. That in itself is not really bad, though, considering that the best the democrats can come up with to tear her down is that she has never been a judge before. As lalepop said, she may not be conservative.

Nobody really knows who she is, so both sides are on the same page on this one. I trust Bush, so I will trust his opinion at this point. But I will wait to past judgment completely when we get to know her a little more.
